For sale: The Heathkit W-5M is a classic American mono tube power amplifier from the 1950s, built around a pair of KT66 output tubes and substantial transformer-based circuitry.
With its exposed vacuum tubes, gold-coloured chassis and heavy transformer housings, the W-5M is a distinctive example of early high-fidelity audio engineering.
This example has recently received servicing, including the installation of a vacuum tube and cleaning.
