This HP Spectrum Analyzer System consists of the High Resolution IF Section 8552B and the plug-in 8554B (Spectrum Analyzer RF Section).
It is part of Hewlett Packard's high performance plug-in spectrum analyzer family which allows frequency domain measurements from 20 Hz to 40 GHz.
Some specifications of this combination:
Frequency range 100 kHz to 1250 MHz, flatness +/- 1 dB.
Resolution bandwidth: IF bandwidths of 0.1 to 100 kHz provided in a 1,3 sequence.
Dynamic range: Average noise level <-102 dBm with 10 kHz IF bandwidth
RF input impedance: 50 ohm, max. input level + 13 dBm (1.4 Vac peak).
Untested due to not having matching equipment, sold as is.
