The Sony TC-K520 is a Japanese-made stereo cassette deck featuring a sophisticated 3-motor transport, Dolby B/C noise reduction and Dolby HX Pro headroom extension.
Introduced around 1990, this model combines Sony's electronically controlled tape mechanism with a range of recording adjustments, making it a capable machine for both cassette playback and recording.
The deck features a clear digital counter, fluorescent peak-level display, adjustable recording level, manual bias control and automatic tape-type detection.
This particular unit has received mechanical servicing, including replacement of the belts and idler wheel, along with cosmetic refinishing of the cover.

The deck presents well overall, with a clean black front panel and a largely tidy exterior.
